Anchor is operated by an individual based in Florida, United States. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights. We are committed to keeping your data minimal and your privacy intact.
Account information: When you sign up, we collect your email address. During onboarding, you provide your business name, username, and payment method handles (e.g. Venmo username, Cash App cashtag). You may optionally upload a logo.
Subscription and billing: Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe, Inc. Anchor does not store your credit or debit card details. We receive confirmation of subscription status from Stripe.
Invoice data: Invoices you generate are stored temporarily to allow sharing with clients. Invoice data is associated with your account.
We do not use analytics, tracking pixels, advertising cookies, or any third-party data collection tools. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third party for marketing purposes.
Information you provide is used solely to operate the Service — to display your payment page, send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset), manage your subscription, and provide customer support. We do not use your data for any other purpose.
Anchor integrates with the following third-party services to deliver core functionality:
Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing. Stripe's Privacy Policy governs how they handle payment data.
Supabase — database and authentication infrastructure. Your account data is stored in Supabase's secure cloud database.
Resend — transactional email delivery (confirmation emails, password resets).
Your payment method handles (Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, etc.) are displayed publicly on your payment page for your clients to use. This is the intended function of the Service.
Your account data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data will be removed from our systems within a reasonable period. Invoice data is stored with a limited retention period.
We take reasonable technical measures to protect your information. Account access is protected by email and password authentication managed through Supabase. Payment data is never stored on Anchor's servers.
Anchor is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at support@anchorapp.us. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of material changes.
