ANCHOR
TERMS OF SERVICE
EFFECTIVE DATE: JUNE 26, 2026

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using Anchor ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms constitute a binding agreement between you and the operator of Anchor, based in Florida, United States.

2. What Anchor Is

Anchor is a SaaS tool that allows independent contractors and small business owners to create branded payment links and invoices. Anchor is not a payment processor. Card payments are processed through Stripe, Inc. under their own terms. Cash-equivalent payments (Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, Zelle, Bitcoin, and others) are handled directly between you and your clients through those third-party platforms.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to operate a business in your jurisdiction to use the Service. By using Anchor you represent that you meet these requirements.

4. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@anchorapp.us if you suspect unauthorized access.

5. Subscription and Billing

Anchor is offered on a monthly subscription basis. Your subscription renews automatically each month unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time. Upon cancellation, your subscription will not renew and no further charges will be made. You will retain access to the Service through the end of your current paid billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing period.

Payment information is stored and processed securely by Stripe. Anchor does not store your card details.

6. Free Trial

New accounts may be offered a free trial period. At the end of the trial, access to payment features requires an active subscription. Trial terms may change at any time.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Anchor only for lawful business purposes. You may not use the Service to process payments for illegal goods or services, engage in fraud, impersonate other persons or businesses, or violate any applicable laws or regulations. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy.

8. Payments and Fees

Anchor charges a flat monthly subscription fee. Anchor does not take a percentage of your transactions. Stripe's standard processing fees apply to card payments and are governed by Stripe's fee schedule. Third-party payment platforms (Venmo, Cash App, etc.) may have their own fees.

9. Intellectual Property

The Anchor name, logo, and platform are proprietary. You retain ownership of your business name, logo, and content uploaded to the Service. By uploading content you grant Anchor a limited license to display it as part of delivering the Service.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We are not responsible for actions taken by third-party payment platforms or your clients.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Anchor's liability for any claim arising from use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid in subscription fees in the three months preceding the claim.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of material changes.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
